Rule Enforcement & Discretion
Any violation of rules within Apex Roleplay, whether explicitly listed or not, will be handled in line with established rules and staff guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, RDM, VDM, Metagaming, Low-Quality Roleplay, FailRP, NVL, or any conduct that undermines the quality or integrity of roleplay. Exploiting rule wording, omissions, or technicalities to justify behaviour is prohibited.
Continued or repeated breaches of these rules will result in escalating disciplinary action, which may include extended bans, permanent bans, and removal from all Apex Roleplay platforms.
Staff Disrespect
Disrespect toward staff members in any form will not be tolerated within the Apex Roleplay community and may result in removal from the server and associated platforms.
Any impersonation of staff, including false claims of authority or representation, will result in a permanent ban.
Rules
Any attempt to sell, trade, broker, advertise, or facilitate the exchange of in-game currency, items, services, or advantages for real-world money or value is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban with no right to appeal.
Tebex assets are not to be sold or traded in-city to other players. They can be gifted, please let us know if this is the case when you open a ticket to claim.
All rule violations must be reported via a support ticket and include video evidence with clear audio from all involved parties and sufficient context. As a general requirement, clips must be a minimum of three (3) minutes in length to be considered. While incidents involving hate speech, exploits, VDM, or RDM may be reviewed using shorter clips, these exceptions are not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Submitting a shorter clip does not ensure it will be reviewed or acted upon.
By submitting video evidence as part of a support ticket, the reporting party acknowledges and agrees that the submitted evidence may be screenshared with the opposing party if requested, for the purpose of transparency and fair review.
Video evidence will not be posted, uploaded, or shared within tickets or in any public or private channels. All evidence will be handled exclusively within the Apex staff Discord and used solely for rule enforcement purposes.
If a reporter does not consent to their evidence being screen shared with the involved party under these conditions, the ticket will be closed without action.
It is the responsibility of the reporting player to provide the in-game IDs of all involved parties. IDs must be included in the support ticket and visible or clearly identifiable in the video evidence. In-game IDs can be viewed by pressing U, which displays nearby player IDs.
Hate Speech, Slurs
Apex Roleplay is an 18+ roleplay environment. Players are expected to understand the distinction between in-character roleplay and out-of-character intent.
Zero-Tolerance Language
The use of hate speech or slurs targeting protected characteristics is strictly prohibited under all circumstances, whether in-character or out-of-character.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Racial slurs (e.g. the N-word)
Homophobic slurs (e.g. the F-slur)
Any language intended to demean or target a person based on race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, or disability
Use of this language will result in severe disciplinary action, up to and including permanent bans.
Apex Roleplay reserves the right to be the final decision-maker on whether language used, and the context in which it is used, constitutes a breach of these rules.
Decisions will be based on context, intent, repetition, and impact, rather than the use of individual words in isolation.
Second Characters
Players who main a Police character as their primary character may create and use a secondary character; however, that secondary character may not be a member, associate, prospect, affiliate, or otherwise connected to any gang or organised criminal group.
Players who main a Gang character as their primary character may join the Police Department only at entry-level Officer rank. They may not join or transfer into any specialist, investigative, command, or gang-related units, including but not limited to Gang Units, Organised Crime Units, CID, Investigations, Intelligence, or similar divisions. They are strictly prohibited from climbing ranks, holding supervisory positions, or obtaining command authority within the Police Department.
This rule exists to prevent conflicts of interest, information crossover, meta-gaming, and abuse of dual-character knowledge. Any attempt to bypass these restrictions through technicalities, indirect affiliations, shell groups, rank workarounds, or character swaps will be treated as a deliberate breach. Staff retain full discretion in determining primary character status and enforcing separation standards.
