👮 Police Roleplay Rules
These rules are in place to ensure police roleplay remains realistic, fair, and enjoyable for everyone. Officers are expected to act professionally and uphold the law at all times.
🧠 General Expectations
All officers must:
Act realistically at all times.
Follow the chain of command.
Use their powers responsibly.
Avoid "supercop" behaviour.
Treat all players fairly and professionally.
⚖️ Legal Standards
Police actions must always be legally justified.
Searches & Arrests
Probable cause is required before searching or arresting a suspect.
Reasonable suspicion is required before stopping or questioning a citizen.
Officers must be able to justify every enforcement action through roleplay.
🚔 Traffic Stops
Traffic stops must always have a legitimate reason.
During a traffic stop, officers should:
Clearly explain why the vehicle was stopped.
Request the driver's identification and licence.
Remain professional throughout the interaction.
🔫 Use of Force
Officers must always use the lowest level of force necessary.
The use of force should follow this order:
Verbal commands
Physical force
Less-lethal force
Lethal force (last resort)
Lethal Force
Lethal force may only be used when there is an immediate threat to life.
Police must not use lethal force unless firearms have been displayed or discharged, or another situation presents an immediate threat of serious harm.
⛓️ Arrest Procedures
When making an arrest, officers must follow a realistic process.
The expected order is:
Introduce yourself.
Explain the reason for the arrest.
Read the suspect their rights.
Search the suspect.
Transport the suspect to the police station.
Brief the custody officer on the arrest.
Offer the suspect access to a lawyer.
Place the suspect in a holding cell while awaiting interview.
Conduct a police interview.
Decide the appropriate outcome:
Fine
Community Service
Jail Sentence
Court Trial
Lawyers may challenge police decisions and request a court trial where appropriate.
📡 Radio Usage
Police radio should be used professionally.
No radio spam.
No out of character communication.
Keep callouts clear, concise, and relevant.
🚨 Safe Zone Enforcement
Police are permitted to handcuff suspects inside designated safe zones only if the suspect is actively committing a crime within that safe zone.
🚓 Vehicle Pursuits
Police pursuits should remain realistic and proportionate.
Vehicle Contact
Excessive ramming is prohibited.
Officers should:
Attempt proper PIT manoeuvres.
Make a maximum of four PIT attempts.
If a PIT cannot be safely completed after four attempts, officers must continue the pursuit without repeatedly ramming the suspect vehicle.
🚗 PIT Manoeuvre Rules
Police
A PIT (Precision Immobilisation Technique) may only be used when:
It is justified.
It is safe.
Road conditions, traffic, and public safety have been considered.
Criminals
If a successful police PIT results in a major collision, every occupant must exit the vehicle immediately (if physically able) and continue the roleplay on foot.
Major Collisions Include
Vehicle rollovers.
High-speed impacts with walls, buildings, trees or other fixed objects.
Any collision that would realistically disable the vehicle.
Players must roleplay the effects of the crash appropriately, including injuries, disorientation or reduced mobility where applicable.
Driving away in a realistically disabled vehicle is considered FailRP.
Not Considered a Major Collision
The following do not require occupants to exit:
Minor spins.
Fishtails.
Low-speed bumps.
Minor impacts where the vehicle remains realistically driveable.
Rule Enforcement
Failing to exit after a qualifying major collision may result in punishment for:

Powergaming
Staff will make the final decision on whether a collision qualifies based on the available evidence.
🚑 EMS Rules
EMS are expected to prioritise medical roleplay while remaining neutral in all situations.
Core Expectations
EMS must:
Prioritise saving lives.
Remain neutral.
Act professionally at all times.
Prohibited Actions
EMS may not:
Revive players during active combat.
Enter scenes that have not been declared safe.
Take sides in criminal or police situations.
Medical Roleplay
Medical treatment should be detailed and realistic.
EMS should:
Match treatment to the injuries sustained.
Perform meaningful medical roleplay.
Avoid instant healing or unrealistic recovery.
Scene Safety
Before entering any dangerous scene:
Wait for police to declare the area safe.
Do not place yourself in unnecessary danger.
⚖️ Lawyer Rules
Lawyers are expected to provide professional legal representation while maintaining realistic roleplay.
Responsibilities
Lawyers should:
Represent their clients fairly.
Provide legal advice.
Protect client rights.
Challenge unlawful police actions where appropriate.
Evidence
Only evidence that has been legally obtained may be presented in legal proceedings.
Professional Conduct
Lawyers must:
Maintain client confidentiality.
Never intentionally betray their clients.
Keep all legal roleplay realistic and professional.
Courtroom Conduct
During court proceedings:
Follow the Judge's instructions at all times.
Do not interrupt proceedings.
Remain respectful and professional toward all parties.
